Welcome to Pender Harbour!
Situated along British Columbia's Sunshine Coast, just a half-an-hour drive north of Sechelt, Pender Harbour is a region comprised of the unique communities of Madeira Park, Garden Bay and Irvines Landing. Known for its mild climate, Pender Harbour boasts more sunshine than nearly anywhere else in the province and even in the winter, the temperature rarely drops below freezing. Francis Point Provincial Park near Madeira Park is an ideal place to engage in one of the many activities popular in this region, including fishing, boating, kayaking and scuba diving. Birdwatching is also a popular activity, and the Ruby Lake Lagoon Nature Reserve attracts flocks of birders year-round. Every year a number of festivals take place in this area, including the Pender Harbour Blues Festival in May and the Pender Harbour Jazz Festival in September. Madeira Park acts as the shopping hub of the region, while all three communities offer unique accommodation options, including bed and breakfasts, campgrounds and cabins.Tourist Attractions
